Sunlight deflects
from a shiny blade
chasing light
over skin parcelled veins,
a fearless shiver
tells a tale as
anticipation and excitement
lend to reality,
her eyes smile droplets
as steel strokes flesh,
tomorrow;
is finally in hand.
